Alexandria Chris Streich is the founder of Streich Law Offices, P.C., which has office locations in Brookings and Newport, Oregon. Her practice focuses on advanced asset protection planning techniques for individuals, professionals, and small businesses. Ms. Streich’s education includes a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of California, Davis (1995) and a Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Idaho (1998). Ms. Streich was admitted to the Oregon State Bar in October 1998.
After practicing law in a downtown Portland law firm, Ms. Streich moved to the Oregon Coast. By age 32, she was appointed by the governor to be the District Attorney for Curry County and elected by the citizens to continue in that position. She resigned as DA in 2006 to focus her attention on private practice, where she uses her knowledge of the legal system to help others avoid the publicity and delays of the court system and deter frivolous lawsuits through asset protection planning. Her extensive knowledge of advanced planning techniques help Streich Law Offices, P.C.’s clients build solid business entities and estate plans. Our clients enjoy the peace of mind that comes with putting a solid plan in place. Advanced planning techniques can protect personal and business assets from creditors, and preserve our clients’ wealth for the future.
Ms. Streich’s clients include high net worth individuals, doctors and other professionals, small businesses, and real estate investors and developers. Ms. Streich’s clients seek her sophisticated asset protection plans, which address a multitude of issues commonly overlooked by general practitioners. For example, Ms. Streich distinguishes herself from many of her peers by integrating estate planning recommendations with asset protection objectives. By educating her clients on the non-tax benefits available with trusts and other vehicles and how plans can be drafted in a flexible manner, her clients achieve both tax savings and wealth preservation. The benefits of a properly drafted asset protection plan include protection from divorce, creditors, or litigation exposure. Ms. Streich also assists the elderly with guardianships, conservatorships, Medicaid planning, elder abuse issues, and end-of-life planning, and represents fiduciaries in estate and trust administrations.
To distinguish herself in the estate planning community, Ms. Streich is a member of national estate planning and elder law associations. She attends over 100 hours of continuing education classes per year, to ensure that her planning techniques remain cutting edge.
Ms. Streich produces a quarterly newsletter to keep clients informed of changes in the law and new ideas for their plans. She also provides brochures on living trusts and advanced planning techniques, such as retirement trusts and life insurance trusts. Her clients are an exclusive group, who have access to her “membership program”, where their trusts are reviewed annually, updated to coincide with any changes in the law, and completely re-written every five years.
Ms. Streich is a frequently requested speaker for private and commmunity groups. She enjoys educating her community on a variety of topics. She is the featured presenter of KBSC-TV's "Legal Bytes" and writes a column for the South Coast SEniors newsletter. Ms. Streich is available to speak to your organization upon request.
